Ever since the UEFA Champions League (UCL) final against Liverpool, Real Madrid have been in news for all the pessimistic reasons of losing their star players. Comments of Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo right after the victory of third consecutive UCL title had started the rumors linking them to various big clubs across Europe.
The Portuguese journalist Nuno Luz has analyzed the situation of Cristiano Ronaldo. The Real Madrid man has been in news for rumors linking him to an exit. The reported destination is said to be Juventus.
In El Larguero, Nuno Luz talks about the possibility of such a transfer and believes that it is unlikely to take place. With various outlets claiming the deal to be in its final stage, it is said that things are relatively calmer within Real Madrid.
One of the most optimistic vies have come from the Portuguese journalist Nuno Luz, who is a close friend of Cristiano Ronaldo. Nuno has said in the stringer of Cadena SER that the Real Madrid number 7 will be playing for the white club next season.
“Cristiano stays, I think he’s going to stay in Madrid. Last year there was a huge mess, people close to Cristiano guaranteed me last year that the player would not return … and then what happened was that a conversation between Florentino and Cristiano changed everything At a certain point in the season, the club told Cristiano that he would renew the contract, he spent time and nothing … the player asked and Madrid has announced that they did not see the right moment for the renewal.”
He continued and claimed that no other club will be suitable enough for Cristiano Ronaldo where he can compete for individual trophies and team titles.
“I do not think Cristiano will find another club like Real Madrid that would allow him to win so much in sports terms.”
As per Nuno Luz, Cristiano Ronald will be staying in Real Madrid it will be a happy ending for the 5-time Ballon d’Or winner.
“I think this will end well and Cristiano will finish happy.”
As it seems that the talks of contract renewal were there but Real Madrid did not see it as a right time to do so in between the season. According to Nuno both the parties now will get together and sort out the issue of renewal, eventually ending with Ronaldo being paid better wages and continuing to play for the Spanish capital.
Real Madrid have currently denied the rumors of Neymar Jr and Kylian Mbappe who were linked to Real Madrid as the potential replacement of Cristiano Ronaldo. This further indicates that the club is optimistic of resolving the issue with the 33-year old.
