The Capitan stays optimistic for the third consecutive UCL trophy to be added to the cabinet.

“The chance to be in a final again adds extra motivation. We know what it means to be able to play the final, and we’re proud to be one step away from walking out in Kiev.”

“I think we’ve always given a great account of ourselves when we’ve come up against Bayern in the Champions League.

“Real Madrid’s ability to get results from the big European games has been a quality that we’ve shown. Against Bayern in the first leg, we knew that if we stayed compact we could hurt them on the break. We have to show the same “defensive mettle” that we did in Munich.”

“Reaching the final would be a reward for all our hard work throughout the year. I’d love to be able to play the final and defend our title.”

The defender has not forgotten what happened in the last round of Champions League where they were saved by the skin of their nails thanks to the last minute goal of Cristiano Ronaldo against Juventus.

“You always learn from good and bad experiences, the match against Juventus will stand in good stead as we want to defend our good result from the first leg.”

Ramos further went on to make comments on the people who raise fingers at the success of the club.

“We’re not affected by any comments made by anyone outside of the club. The history of Real Madrid speaks for itself. If anyone has any doubts, they should look at the history books.”

The ex Sevilla man also talked about their arch rival’s success in La Liga and if Real Madrid would give them a guard of honor next week when they visit Bernabeu to play their first match after being declared the champions of this season.

“It’s been a great year for Barcelona. If we won the Champions League, it’ll have been a great year for both clubs.”

“Guard of honor? We’ll do whatever Zizou (Zidane) says. They have the league and the cup to celebrate, and I don’t think the guard of honor will be all that important to them.”

The fans ever favorite captain had a message for Madridistas as well.

“The big nights at the Bernabéu have been not only down to the team but also the fans, we call on the supporters to contribute to a magical night.”

He further emphasized on the clash against Bayern Munich on Tuesday and the motivation of Real Madrid in Champions League.

“Three Champions Leagues in the last four seasons? We’re making what seems impossible look easy.”

The 30-year-old Real Madrid captain had some words of praise for his teammates and coach.

“I hope Asensio has a big future at Real Madrid because it would be good for him and for the club. He’s a lad with bags of potential, and I think he could be a top, top player for many years.”

“Marcelo is a top player with a lot of experience. He’s won pretty much everything there is to win in football and he’s a cornerstone of the Real Madrid team.”

“I can only heap praise on Zidane. We know he’s a great coach, he’s shown that; we’re proud to play under him. Whenever he’s questioned, the trophies he wins have shut a lot of people up.”

Real Madrid faces Bayern Munchen tomorrow night in Estadio Santiago Bernabeu at 7:45 PM CET. The aggregate score stands 2-1 in favor of the home side but this tie remains far from over.
