The Bayern Munchen squad traveling to Madrid has been announced.
As soon the squad was announced on social media by the official pages of the Bavarian club. Fans on social media were in a frenzy.
The team which will be traveling is:
Ulreich, Starke, Fruchtl, Wagner, Sule, Hummels, Thiago, Ribery, Martinez, Lewandowski, James, Rafinha, Bernat, Mai, Shabani, Rudy, Tolisso, Muller, Alaba, Dorsch, Kimmich.
One of the noticeable absentees is Arjen Robben. The ex Madrid man will be missing out due to an injury he picked up in the first leg.
Though Arjen Robben is ruled out Real Madrid will still be welcoming an old player, James Rodríguez who is on loan to Bayern Munchen.
The German goalkeeper Manuel Neuer will also be watching the match from home as he continues his long course of recovery.
Though one name has been included which would delight the Bayern fans. Alaba who missed the first leg due to an injury is named in the squad and is fit to play.
Even Martínez was feared to miss the second leg but he too has been declared fit for playing.
The Germans visit Madrid with a 2-1 deficit score hoping to turn that around on aggregate score.
The match will be telecasted all over the world via the official broadcasters.
Kick-off is scheduled for 7:45 PM CET on Tuesday, 1st May 2018.
